London Itinerary
I just touched down in London Town and couldn’t wait to spill the (high) tea with you!
This trip was totally spontaneous and last-minute, which made it even more exciting! Just when I thought I was done traveling after a summer spent living out of suitcases, our London team announced an event that I absolutely couldn’t miss. (And my bestie fell in love with a British boy so I needed to give my stamp of approval) Pitching the idea to my husband was surprisingly easy—he booked all our travel and accommodations, I packed the bags, and we were off.
I’ve always dreamed of visiting London. Planning my outfits felt like my 6 year-old self was finally getting to live out her Spice Girl dreams. My London team warned me to pack for all seasons-and they were not lying. The weather changed drastically & rain came and went every day. Apparently it’s like this all year long.
I packed mostly basics that I could layer or mix and match, plus a few fun styling pieces like hats and jackets to pull it all together. My favorite way to explore any city is by walking around and taking it in like a local so comfy sneakers were a must. I loved the new pair I brought. They felt more elevated than my Air Force 1s. If Paris and Amsterdam had a baby, it would be London. It’s the perfect city for a long weekend or a stopover on the way to Europe. The Ritz London was so dreamy—if you’re not staying there, I’d still recommend booking their High Tea; the service was 10/10. And if you’re in town over the summer, don’t miss a tour of Buckingham Palace. I’m usually not one for tours, but I had to drag Brian and Sante along to see how the Royals live.
The highlight of my trip was heading to Brighton to host an event with our incredible London team. These UK girls are THE vibe! We had so much fun creating content, training, and launching our new skincare makeup line. I got to demonstrate my skincare makeup favorites on stage, a total pinch-me moment. London stole a little piece of my heart. Exploring new cities with my best friends—and now our kids too—is my love language. I’ll always smile thinking about Brian and Jesse trying out their terrible British accents everywhere we went. One day we’ll show Sante & Jazzy the cutest memories from this trip. And London boy got the stamp of approval!
